Michael Kuba studied zoology at the University of Vienna and finished his Masters on the excretory system of the Green Iguana in 2001. At the KLI he worked on Lateral Asymmetries in Octopus vulgaris as well as on Exploration, Manipulation, Habituation, Play, and Learning in Octopus vulgaris. He obtained his PhD in Zoology at the University of Vienna in April 2004.
