Isabella Sarto-Jackson was invited by the Das Bundesministerium für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Forschung (The Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) to participate in “Science Talks” an event that promotes dialogue between researchers and interested public and stakeholders, that was held on 24 June 2024.
The aim of this event organised by the BMBWF is to take up interesting and current topics from science and research in Austria, to present great and committed researchers, and also to give the audience the opportunity to get involved in the discussion and make contacts for the audience. This event provides opportunity for the much need dialogue between researchers and the interested public as well as to all stakeholders from education, science and research in Austria.
The Science Talk session was moderated by the editor-in-chief of Die Furche, Doris Helmberger. The theme of the session was 'So früh wie möglich? Frühkindliche Förderung aus wissenschaftlicher Sicht" [translation: As early as possible? Early childhood support from a scientific perspective]
The other three other experts in the panel were Professor Fabienne Becker-Stoll, a developmental psychologist who specialises in attachment development in early childhood, Yvonne Anders, a psychologist and sociologist with a focus on social research and the evaluation of educational professional, and Natascha Jasmin Taslimi, an educator with a focus on training and professionalization in the field of elementary education.
